Hey folks, as of October 29, we will no longer sell pitchers of Pliny the Elder. Unfortunately, we can only get three kegs per week and we always run out within a few days.  We’ve begged for more but it’s become so popular that Russian River Brewing Company simply can’t make enough.  Consequently, we only get three kegs per week.

We’ll still sell pints at $6 and $5 during Happy Hour.  The only difference is you won’t be able to order a full pitcher.  I’m hoping that this will spread out the sales a bit so we can add an extra day to its availability. As it is, we usually get our shipment on Wednesdays and are usually out by Saturday night.  So, we have an empty tap for at least three days per week.

We’ll be utilizing one of our 4 guest taps for other double or Imperial IPAs such as Green Flash Imperial, Hop Stoopid, Auburn Alehouse PU240, and other great double IPAs.  Of course they are not Pliny but many of the doubles we get are fantastic beers in their own right.

Sorry to give you the bad news but I think it’s the fair thing to do so everybody has an opportunity to drink a wonderful Pliny.
