Below are the dates and times for the SF Beer Week events we’ll be having at Bobby G’s Pizzeria. Some of the specifics might change but we’ll put those changes on the site if and when they happen.

Keep checking our website, Twitter, or Facebook for any updates to the events.  This should be a very fun week with some fantastic rare beers just for our customers.  And Friday we tap the Pliny the Younger keg.  Always an exciting day.

Meet the Iron Springs brewer
Swing on by and meet Christian, the head brewer of Iron Springs Pub and Brewery. We’ll have several of their seasonal beers available, as well as a couple of their flagship beers.
Come in and enjoy a couple of pints from this Certified Green Brewery’s finest offerings.

Meet the Ale Industries brewers
Stephan and Morgan, brewers and owners of Ale Industries will be at Bobby G’s pizzeria with a host of their delicious beers. A relatively new brewery, they nonetheless are very creative and passionate about their beers. We’ll be showcasing their flagships beers as well as a few special offerings.

This is also an Open Mic night with our fantastic Queen of the boogie-woogie piano, Wendy DeWitt hosting.  It’s always fun and with the addition of these fine beers, the music should be great.

Beer Trivia with Anderson Valley Brewing Co.
We will be having a very special trivia night with a few of the brewers from AVBC. Trivia doesn’t start until 8:30pm but the fine folks from the brewery will be here at 7pm. They also are the ones creating the questions, so bring on the beer geeks. You’ll need them. Also, we will be showcasing some very special beers that aren’t in circulation.

Meet the Auburn Alehouse brewer
Brian Ford will be in to answer questions or just discuss beer in general. He has a rich brewing history and has a wealth of knowledge. A wide selection of their beers will be on tap for everyone’s drinking pleasure. We will also be showcasing a new beer that Brian describes best: “We achieved such great hop oil extraction that your tongue will feel like a Pelican in an oil spill!”

Strong IPA Night starring Pliny the Younger
This is the day we’ll tap our keg of Pliny the Younger (if we get it).  It went in 57 minutes last year, but don’t despair, we’ll have plenty of other double and triple IPAs on hand, including our favorite beer, Pliny the Elder.

We’ll tap the Pliny the Younger keg at 5pm so make sure you get here early for a taste of heaven.  This year we’ll be handing out tickets to each person waiting for Younger so we can ensure that most of you will get at least one pour of this elixir.
